Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Rosenblatt and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton are among the law firms owed hundreds of thousands of pounds by the U.K. arm of Russian state-owned bank VTB Capital, documents show, with more than $4 million owed to law firms overall. 

A host of law firms, mostly headquartered in the U.K., are listed as creditors in administration proposals—issued by administrators Teneo Financial Advisory—for VTB Capital Plc, including Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy, and White and Case.
