The House Oversight and Accountability Committee is launching an investigation of Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan’s handling of the agency following a former commissioner’s claims of abuse of power and disregard for the rule of law. 

Committee Chair James Comer, R-Kentucky, stated in a letter to FTC on Thursday that he is concerned by Christine Wilson’s allegations regarding Khan’s actions, including her refusal to recuse herself from reviewing Meta’s merger with Within Unlimited.
