Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has hired senior Food and Drug Administration official Maarika Kimbrell as a partner in Washington, D.C., as the firm sees continued demand in health care and life sciences practices.

Kimbrell, who is joining Morgan Lewis’ FDA and health care practice, co-founded and established the Office of New Drug Policy for the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and most recently served as the director. Before her time within the Office of New Drug Policy, she served as deputy chief of staff to former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, among other positions.
