It’s been a long wait for ACLU voting rights attorney and Southern District of New York District Court Nominee Dale Ho, but after about 650 days he’s headed to the federal bench.

Ho was first offered up by President Joe Biden in September 2021, but the Senate Judiciary Committee failed to get him to the floor until February of this year when he was voted out to the floor by a vote of 11-10. A similarly tight vote unfolded Wednesday as Ho was approved by 50-49.
