Sam Guthrie, a tax lawyer working on projects and energy transition transactions, who moved to Allen & Overy in 2021, has returned to Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a tax partner in Washington, D.C., as the Am Law 100 firm continues to strengthen its energy and infrastructure practice.
Guthrie, who joined Dallas-founded Akin on Wednesday, had been counsel at U.K. firm Allen & Overy.
