Law firms in Washington, D.C., hired a flurry of litigation, regulatory and antitrust partners this week, with firms such as Paul Hastings, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Boies Schiller Flexner all announcing new arrivals on Monday.

In particular, Big Law continues to recruit heavily lawyers with Justice Department experience, with Cleary adding David Last, most recently the chief of the DOJ's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) unit. Meanwhile, Boies Schiller said it added David Lehn, who formerly served at the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel, while Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer recruited Stephen Cha-Kim, most recently an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York.
