Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan defended her controversial tenure Thursday against Republican lawmakers' attacks on what they called her too-aggressive stance against big tech mergers and other business activities overseen by the agency.
Appearing before the GOP-led House Judiciary Committee, Khan was unapologetic about the agency's opposition to corporate mergers and harsh criticism of pharmaceutical benefit managers and noncompete agreements.
