A federal judge has decided to force a former Fox News journalist to reveal the source of a 2018 investigation into an academic who was the subject of a since-ended, years-long FBI probe.
Dr. Yanping Chen, a naturalized citizen of the United States, has been in the country since the late 80s, but she found herself on the receiving end of an FBI raid in 2012. It was her work with the Arlington, Virginia-based University of Management and Technology which started the search.
