Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer is launching a Boston office to add more depth to its life sciences capabilities, becoming the latest Am Law 100 firm to see opportunity from Beantown's biotech sector work.

The five-lawyer office will be led by Hemmie Chang, who joins the firm as a partner in the corporate & finance practice from Foley Hoag in Boston. Arnold & Porter said the office will focus on life sciences and health care transactions, litigation, regulatory counseling, and government investigations, the firm said Wednesday.
