The Federal Trade Commission received 2.1 million consumer complaints about robo and other unwanted telemarketing calls in fiscal year 2023, marking a five-year low in the Do Not Call Registry era, the agency reported Friday.

The figure for FY2023, which ended Sept. 30, is more than 900,000 complaints fewer than the 3 million the FTC said it received during the prior 12-month period.
