Even for veteran Supreme Court lawyer Lisa Blatt, last term was one to remember. In Google v. Gonzalez, Blatt secured a ruling for the tech giant that preserved legal immunity for social media companies. She also won a copyright appeal for a photographer whose portrait of the singer Prince was used by Andy Warhol in the case Goldsmith v. Andy Warhol Foundation. And in Jack Daniel's Properties v. VIP Products, Blatt obtained a trademark ruling against the maker of a poop-themed dog toy made to look like a Jack Daniel's bottle.
