President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated a union's in-house attorney and a law firm partner to seats on federal appeals courts.
Nicole Berner, general counsel to the Service Employees International Union, was picked for a seat on the Richmond, Virginia-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. New Jersey attorney Adeel Mangi was nominated for the Third Circuit, which is based in Philadelphia.
