Austin Knudsen of Montana is the latest state attorney general to file a lawsuit against Meta, claiming in a Dec. 1 federal complaint that the company downplays the prevalence of mature content on Instagram and doesn’t comply with child privacy laws.

Washington, D.C.-based Cooper & Kirk is representing the state in the case filed in the Billings division of the District of Montana, which deviates in part from the claims against Meta that 42 other attorneys general filed recently.
