The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed rule on predictive data analytics will help prevent the conflicts of interest that can emerge when the investment community uses artificial intelligence, SEC Chair Gary Gensler said Tuesday. 

“It’s sort of a straightforward concept,” Gensler said of the proposed rule. “You’ve got to put your client’s interest ahead of that of the firm.”
