The high-stakes constitutional battle over former President Donald Trump’s eligibility for office has reached the U.S. Supreme Court.

Lawyers for the Colorado Republican State Central Committee asked the justices on Wednesday to review a decision by the state’s high court barring the GOP front-runner from the 2024 ballot for having engaged in an “insurrection” after his loss in the last election.
