The National Automobile Dealers Association and Texas Automobile Dealers Association are seeking to block the Federal Trade Commission’s new rule designed to protect consumers from illegal tactics such as bait-and-switch and junk fees when purchasing a vehicle.  

The two auto groups filed a petition last week urging the U..S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Court to vacate or modify the FTC’s Combating Auto Retail Scams rule.
