Big Law attorneys joined public interest lawyers this week in filing a proposed class action lawsuit challenging New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services’ practice of searching families’ homes without their consent.

Paul Weiss partners Audra Soloway and Erin Morgan and Emery Celli partner Katherine Rosenfeld are working with the Family Justice Law Center and the NYU School of Law Family Defense Clinic on the lawsuit, which Family Defense Clinic co-director Martin Guggenheim described as potentially “one of the most important lawsuits in the field in the last fifty years.”
