Wade is both wrong as a matter of law and profoundly harmful to the rights and dignity of millions of people," said Stephanie Toti, executive director of the Lawyering Project. An Idaho doctor who specializes in maternal-fetal medicine has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho against state and local officials charged with enforcing the state's ban on abortion, seeking a declaration that the law is gunconstitutional and unenforceable.
