A federal appeals court has reinstated a half-million-dollar-plus jury verdict as just compensation to a Virginia family who lost 8.37 acres of land to a pipeline developer.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in a 3-0 decision restored the jury’s $523,327 verdict, reversing a district court judgment.
