President Joe Biden will nominate Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Kay Costello for a U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania judgeship. He also plans to nominate Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura Margarete Provinzino for a Minnesota federal judgeship and California Superior Court Judge Noël Wise for a Northern District of California judgeship, the White House announced Wednesday.

Costello served in the U.S. Air Force from 1986 to 1994 and graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2001. She previously worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and Saul Ewing in Philadelphia before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2008, according to the White House announcement.
