Global financial services firm Morgan Stanley has prevailed in a Maryland workers’ compensation appeal and will not have to pay a former employee’s medical costs for the lung infection pneumonitis as a result.
The court said that the white-collar worker’s claim that the infection was caused by exposure to mold did not link the injury to his job as a financial adviser.
