The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday rejected a constitutional challenge to a federal law prohibiting those under domestic violence restraining orders from possessing firearms.
In an 8-1 decision in U.S. v. Rahimi, the court held the 1994 ban does not violate the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms and largely sided with the Biden administration’s defense of the law.
