A federal court on Tuesday dismissed U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Judge Pauline Newman’s lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the law governing judicial misconduct investigations under which her colleagues suspended her last year.
In a 15-page opinion, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper rejected Newman’s claim that a provision of the Judicial Conduct and Disability Act violates the Fourth Amendment.
