After stepping down from the bench earlier this year, retired D.C. Circuit Judge David Tatel published a novel entitled, “Vision: A Memoir of Blindness and Justice.” The book, which Tatel describes as a “braided memoir,” weaves the narrative of his legal career with that of his deteriorating vision.
