The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has revived a race discrimination lawsuit against Ollie's Bargain Outlet Inc., ruling that the claims of racial slurs and threats of physical violence "sufficiently allege the denial of an opportunity to contract based on race."

Black Dominican-American plaintiff Alexis Guerrero filed a "plausible race discrimination claim" in his civil rights lawsuit against the discount retailer, Judge DeAndrea Gist Benjamin wrote in the opinion for the Fourth Circuit filed Monday, reversing the trial court's judgment.
