A contract dispute between a twice-suspended medical doctor and his former employer will return to Montgomery County trial court for further proceedings, the Maryland Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.

The Circuit Court for Montgomery County got it wrong when it dismissed Dr. Steven S. Behram’s breach-of-contract complaint against Adventist Healthcare Inc., Chief Justice Matthew J. Fader said in the opinion for the Maryland Supreme Court. “We will affirm the Appellate Court’s vacatur of the award of summary judgment on Count One and remand for further proceedings.”
