Counsel for Donald Trump late Thursday made their second bid at removing the former president’s Manhattan criminal case to federal court.
In a 64-page filing, defense attorneys Todd Blanche and Emil Bove of Blanche Law argue that the case should be removed given the presidential immunity decision from the U.S. Supreme Court in July. That decision granted broad immunity to sitting presidents for actions relating to official duties.
