The general counsel for Florida's department of health, John Wilson, resigned from his post last week after threatening to prosecute local television stations unless they stopped airing a political action committee's abortion-rights ad.
Wilson, who had been the Florida DOH legal chief for two years, is no longer listed on the Florida DOH website, and Law.com could not reach him at his work phone or email.
