Sally Laing has rejoined Akin as an international trade partner. Laing most recently served as chief international trade counsel for the Senate Finance Committee and U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, who chairs the committee. Prior to her time in the Senate, Laing was assistant general counsel in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. She previously practiced at Akin, first as a summer associate, and then as an international trade associate.
