What You Need to Know
- Inclement weather forced court closures in parts of the South and Midwest.

- Some U.S. courts closing for inclement weather will also be closing for Jimmy Carter National Mourning Day.
A number of federal and state courts closed Monday and Tuesday as a snowstorm walloped parts of Maryland, Virginia and the Ohio River Valley.
The Maryland Supreme Court held oral arguments via Zoom as state trial courts and the federal courthouse in Baltimore closed Monday and Tuesday because of inclement weather.
