Harrison LLP, a Chicago-founded national private wealth planning firm, has expanded into the Washington, D.C., market by combining with Birchstone Moore, a six-lawyer, woman-owned boutique estate planning firm.
By adding the Birchstone Moore team, Harrison grows to nearly 100 lawyers in 10 offices, and more expansion is on tap for the firm, which managing partner Matthew Madsen said may be the largest wealth planning firm in the country.
