Just hours after President Donald Trump signed an order attempting to end birthright citizenship, the first legal challenge against the policy was brought in a federal trial court in New Hampshire.
The challengers' choice of the Granite State is in keeping with University of Pittsburgh law professor Arthur Hellman's prediction last fall that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit would become a forum of choice for those challenging Trump policies.
