U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who was sworn in Tuesday, has quickly taken steps toward easing Biden-era highway emissions standards and removing programs related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Duffy has also directed that all Department of Transportation policies, programs and activities rely "upon sound economic analysis” and be aimed at boosting the American economy.
