The court denied motions from acting U.S. Solicitor General Sarah Harris to pause three pending environmental cases in light of the change in administration, though it agreed to do so for a separate case about student loan repayments.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday declined the Trump administration's requests to put on hold three pending environmental cases due to reconsideration of Biden-era government policy, rebuffing acting U.S. Solicitor General Sarah Harris.
At the same time, the court granted Harris' request to pause a separate case involving student loan repayments. The court did not explain its reasons for the orders in any of the four cases.
