Katten Muchin Rosenman has created a financial services litigation practice group and hired David C. Bohan from Reed Smith as a new partner who will be a co-chair of the new group with existing partner Christian T. Kemnitz.

Bohan, 54, has concentrated his practice on complex civil litigation, enforcement actions, administrative proceedings and governmental investigations and represented securities exchanges, hedge funds and broker-dealers, among others, the firm said in a release. In the early 1980s, Bohan was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for five years.
