Gardere Wynne Sewell (Dallas): Elizabeth Hurst joins the firm’s environmental group as partner in the Austin, Texas, office. Hurst will work closely with the government affairs team and focus on environmental issues. Previously, Hurst managed the litigation and environmental group as an assistant general counsel for chemical company Tronox Inc. in Oklahoma City. She has also worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas.

WolfBlock (Philadelphia): Charles M. Oberly III and Kathleen M. Jennings join the firm’s business litigation practice group and William J. Rhodunda joins the real estate and environmental and land use practice groups as partners in the Wilmington, Del., office. Oberly will focus on commercial, corporate and civil litigation; government relations; internal corporate investigations; and white-collar defense. Previously, Oberly established the Oberly, Jennings & Rhodunda firm and served for 12 years as the attorney general for the state of Delaware. Jennings will focus on commercial, personal injury and white-collar defense matters. Previously, Jennings was a former chief deputy attorney general in the state of Delaware. Rhodunda will focus on real estate, land use and zoning matters. Previously, Rhodunda was the former chief counsel for the New Castle County, Del., government, where he handled the county government legislative agenda at the state and county level and oversaw all the county’s litigation matters. All three partners, plus two associates also joining, come from Oberly, Jennings & Rhodunda.
