Boston-area corporate executives and in-house counsel anticipate slow legal spending growth for Boston’s nearly $2 billion legal services market and pegged seven firms as practice area standouts, according to a new study.
But participants in Wellesley, Mass.-based BTI Consulting Group Inc.’s study, Boston Law: Leaders, Contenders & Corporate Spending Forecast, identified no standout law firms in the intellectual property litigation arena, a lucrative area that Boston law firms frequently tout as a particular specialty for their firms.
