Saul Ewing (Philadelphia): Wendell F. Holland joins the firm’s business department and energy and utilities practice group as partner. Holland will focus on national and state regulatory matters, including compliance with legislation governing the electric, natural gas, water, telecommunications and transportation industries. Previously, Holland was chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
Steptoe & Johnson LLP (Washington): James J. Bonham joins the firm’s government affairs and public policy practice as managing director. Previously, Bonham was a senior Democratic strategist and former executive director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen (Boston): Dylan Sanders joins the firm as of counsel. Sanders will focus on environmental law, including real estate, business and products liability litigation and professional liability defense. Previously, Sanders was a partner at DLA Piper.
