“Discover all the places the world DOES need another lawyer,” teases the home page of DiscoverLaw.org. It’s a new tool aimed at college freshmen and sophomores who may have never considered law as a profession.

The graphically-rich Web site was developed by an agency that produced media for the Obama for President campaign, and University of Connecticut School of Law Associate Dean Ellen K. Rutt says it tested “off the charts” with market research groups. It’s one of several ambitious projects she’s undertaken as board chair for the Law School Admissions Council, based in Newtown, Pa.
