In 2008, Brad Samuels, a fifth-year associate in the Washington office of McKenna Long & Aldridge, helped launch the firm’s Washington Pro Bono Criminal Project as a training ground for eager associates who want to provide much-needed legal services to the community.

“My love for criminal defense work started when I worked for the Georgetown Law School criminal justice clinic,” said Samuels. “And, I knew when I graduated law school that I wanted to work on criminal defense cases. The firm also encourages attorneys to work on pro bono cases.”
