Winston & Strawn (Chicago): Michael Elkin has been named managing partner of the firm’s New York office and elected to the firm’s executive committee. Elkin focuses his practice on media, entertainment and intellectual property matters. Elkin succeeds Jonathan Goldstein.
Ice Miller (Indianapolis): Donna More and Philip C. Parenti join the firm’s public affairs team in the Chicago office. More joins as partner and will focus on gaming regulatory matters, litigation, mergers, acquisitions, employment, risk management, labor and community affairs. Previously, More was vice president and general counsel for Columbia Sussex Corp. and Tropicana Casinos in Crestview Hills, Ky. Parenti joins as of counsel and will focus on civil and criminal enforcement, corporate compliance, white-collar criminal defense and gaming law. Previously, Parenti served as an independent gaming consultant.
