Firms still are announcing last-minute deferrals, even as 3Ls are packing their bags and readying their caps and gowns for law school graduation.

The latest to catch a ride on the deferral bus is Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. After a memo to new associates was leaked online at JDJournal on Friday, the firm officially announced plans to push back start dates and offer optional year-long delays with stipends for public sector work that same day.
