JACKSON WALKER (Dallas): Mark L. Jones joins the firm as partner in the Houston office. Jones will focus on corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, technology startups and private and venture capital financings. Previously, Jones was general counsel at Argonne National Laboratory, which is operated by the University of Chicago for the U.S. Department of Energy.
K&L GATES : Erin S. Hennessy joins the firm’s intellectual property practice as of counsel to the Seattle office. Hennessy will focus on intellectual property matters, including trademark law. Previously, Hennessy was assistant general counsel and chief trademark counsel at Time Warner Inc.
