Demetrios Kouzoukas , 33, has joined the Washington office of Covington & Burling as of counsel to the firm’s health care and food-and-drug practice groups. He will focus his practice on health care reimbursement issues related to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Previously, Kouzoukas was principal associate deputy secretary in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
