K&L GATES: Mark J. Duggan joins the firm’s investment management practice as of counsel to the Boston office. Duggan will focus on investment management and collective fund issues. Previously, Duggan was deputy general counsel and senior vice president of State Street Global Advisors.
FRANKFURT KURNIT KLEIN & SELZ (New York): Mary J. Sotis joins the firm’s intellectual property group and advertising group as partner. Sotis will focus on advising international brands in the sports, apparel, hospitality, publishing, alcoholic beverages, financial services and energy industries. Previously, Sotis was group vice president of National Hockey League Enterprises, where she managed the league’s intellectual property functions.
