McCARTER & ENGLISH (Newark, N.J.): Michael P. Kelly, a partner at the firm, has been appointed chairman of the firm’s executive committee. Kelly was the managing partner of the firm’s Wilmington, Del., office. Kelly succeeds Andrew T. Berry, who died in July after 44 years with the firm and 12 years as chairman. Kelly’s practice includes work on toxic torts, complex civil litigation and products liability.
