DISTINCTIONS

Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart (West Palm Beach, Fla.): Tanya Reed, an associate in the firm’s labor and employment litigation practice in West Palm Beach, has joined the board of directors for the Urban League of Palm Beach County. Reed, who concentrates her practice in labor and employment law, will help the Urban League assist African-Americans and other minorities achieve social and economic equality. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006.
 
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease (Columbus, Ohio): Gretchen Jeffries, an associate in the firm’s commercial and real estate group in the Columbus office, has been named chair of the Columbus Bar Association’s Real Property Law Committee. Jeffries is the first woman to serve as chair. Jeffries will oversee monthly committee meetings, which focus on professional education and networking opportunities for attorneys practicing residential and commercial real estate law. She will also help find speakers for group presentations and plan upcoming continuing legal education programs. She earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2003.
