Fresh allegations of prosecutorial misconduct have emerged in the federal government’s stock options backdating case against a former executive of Broadcom Corp.
Lawyers for Broadcom co-founder Henry Samueli, who testified on Tuesday and Wednesday in a criminal trial that began one month ago, have renewed allegations that Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Stolper leaked misleading information about grand jury proceedings two years ago to reporters at the Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal.
