A Florida man was found guilty of violating his probation by trying to break into the county jail. Sylvester Jiles was caught trying to climb a 12-foot fence at the Brevard County Detention Center and hospitalized with severe cuts from the barbed wire. He’d just been released following a plea deal for manslaughter. Jiles had begged officials to take him back into custody because he feared retaliation from his victim’s family.
