COVINGTON & BURLING (Washington): Timothy Stratford joins the firm’s international trade and finance group as partner in the Beijing office. Stratford will focus on advising international clients doing business in China, as well as on assisting Chinese companies seeking to expand their businesses globally. Previously, Stratford was assistant U.S. trade representative for China affairs.
